I have lived here for approximately5 yrs ago, never had a problem until 2019.bedbugs started to slowly appear around the end of the year, I put in a complaint to the office and nothing was done about it.so than in 2020 I put in a request to change apartments because the bedbugs were getting really disgustingly bad. It has been a year now that finally did something but the bugs are so bad that this building needs to be completely gutted and redone. Its not just bugs it's plumming,

mice, critters in the walls, and what ever else.

when I first moved in (2013) i thought it was just an older building with cheaper rent for the area. The cheap comes out expensive!! This building is crawling with bed bugs and the management will make a little effort and will look at your bites and tell you "we've never had this problem before" and then do as little as possible. I have often found glass crack pipes, syringes throughout the common areas of the building and property. Frequent visits from swarms of police are not uncommon- after r

eaching out to the landlord they eventually just stopped replying. The superintendent is anything but super. whats the opposite of super? He's that.

So save your sanity and rent somewhere else

I have been getting itchy at night recently, and have been contacting Camwood Properties Ltd.

I am new to the building.

I have not heard from them yet, but I am worried about this situation.

I know that they are bedbugs, and have talked to other people in the building. I have informed myself and I know that things have to be taken care of by a licensed professional.

One person in builing has been living there for a long time. That person told me that home depot products have been use

d in in individual units in the building.

Since I know that things have to be taken care of by a licensed professional, and that Home Depot Products do not work, not to mention the fact that all units have been sprayed, I am very worried about what will happen to my furniture and my future, as I do not have much money.

The more I talk to people, the more I get disturbed by the bedbug situations. I am hearing from different people in the building, who have been here longer than I have, that people have been charged for spraying.

I know that it is the property owner's obligation to take care of these things and to take care of all the costs.

I really don't know what is going to happen to me, and to tell you the truth, I am quite frightened

The woman another woman in the building told me that she has mice. As I read the registry for this building, and know that she did not know about this website, I now know that they are probably rampant throughout the building.

I have not contacted the Property owners at this point, because I really don't believe that they will help me.

I have had bedbugs in my appartment since June of this year (2009). It is now close to Sept 15th. The building did nothing to help me at all.

I spent the summer trying to vacuum everything every day or every other day for the past two weeks. Because of a herniated disk in my back, I have broken down time and time again. I now have two herniated disks in my back.

The office told me that it was my problem and that I had to buy a ptoduct for Canadian Tire that costs $80 a can. It is toxic.

Our building went through this last year. They sprayed some units with their silly product and then told us that it was our problem to deal with.

At the time, I didn't know anything about bedbugs, and remembered seeing a futon on the lawn with the words BED BUGS spayed on it in spray paint. A few months later, I started to feel itchy until I finally saw bugs.

My expensive heirloom couch got sawed into pieces.

When I got home that night, there was debris all over my living room, including wood with nails sticking out of it.

Bed bug infestation, July 2009. I thought I was safe since my apt is clean, even though I knew the apartment at the other end of the hall had bedbugs and mice. No such luck. Started getting bites and then found about 20 hiding in the crevices of my bed. I suspect the entire (old) building has them everywhere.
