I lived in this place since may long and i just had bed bugs in october and this place was fast and responded quickly to get rid of them im impress among other problems they have they did a good job at getting rid of them long as you follow what they say and such like vacuum the matress and everything


First of it not peoples feault that get bed bugs you van easy get them anywhere i am a clean single female woth a 15 moth old son and sincw i moced in to 360 cumber land i have nothing but troble with the mangment about my bes bug probley i have had them on and off since my son was 9 months and even though they came some tomes to spray the raid for bed bugs only seemed to work and awcond telling someone to move out of the building if all they do is complain is easier said then done iv tried to s

ublet for over fice montha now and no one will take it. And plus when you have a problem in this building therrs never someone in the building when there suppost to be here for there ahift and most pf the time they will roller there eyes at u and they saod they remodled bullshit everything falls apart in my suite i will never renew my lease here and i hope to oneless will

2012.......Soon as I moved in I had bed bug on my couches had to get rid of them before I moved in had no case of bed bugs. Now my matress was filled with them as time went on I started getting really itchy so I began checking my bed and I found numeRous bed bugs I haven't made a report yet but I am about too. Its not a happy environment living with these BUGS!!!!


Wow new ownership is right.. they double tap ur bank for rent taking out twice as much and to boot they don't pay u back when the rent increase still not approved called r.t.b... As for the bed bug issue the bugs own the building i see every other day suites being treated over and over and over again same suites too. its a never ending cycle ....The management is run improperly and the right heath issues are not being addressed.. watched the cleaning lady she never has more than inch of water i

n the bucket and she washes 21 floors and stairs with the same bucket "YUCK" considering the piss,puke and passed out bums , not to mention the garbage everywhere... with useless cleaning lady and MAJOR LACK of security the bedbugs and cockroaches will always over run the building. and it will always look like a third world country so no need to travel... oh and seems now a generator outside the the garbage area they wonder why the halls smell like diesel thru out building and the garbage hmm 20' from building air in??? someone plaese Help the rest of the poor soles stuck in a rotting cess pool you can paint over the crap all u want still CRAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! peace out.

My last report was 03/08/2011

Tonight I found a small bed bug in the same area that I found bedbugs last time. This one was definately a baby, wonder where momma and the rest of the kids are :( ugggghhhh.

Now I am worried I will once again be fumigated and find more in 4 more months. This is complete and total bullsh!t!. I am so tired of this ghetto block that is magically going thru transformations and jacking the rent up to $750 - $800 /month and for what? a remodelled apt in the ghe

tto with bedbugs and no amenities. Save yourself the grief and avoid moving in to the BED BUG PALACE

I think you should all stop complaining and try and find something better to do. If you only have to complain about things - then I would suggest you move out of the building. You won't find any building lately that does not have bedbugs.


Please be advised that as of February 2011, 360 Cumberland Ave is under new ownership and is scheduled to undergo extensive renovations through 2011. We would request any evidence of bedbugs be reported to the office in Cumberland House as soon as possible to ensure it is dealt with in a timely fashion and to reduce the possibility of spreading. We also request that tenants adhere to the instructions provided for proper extermination to prevent re-infestation. Should you have any questions or

I've lived here for over 10 years now.
the caretaker who was mentioned actually was the only one who did seem to care!! I seen him he wasn't fired get your story straight.. The problem was yes pigs in the building and at least someone tried to do something , the bed bugs here are not because the company doesn't care it's because yes PIGS lots of pigs here I've seen it with my own eyes someone throws something out and someone else brings it back in.. That CARETAKER Helped me find and eliminate

the problems in my suite and well at least he knew how to clean He only posted signs where they were desperately needed since B&M didn't seem to give a crap or do anything about YOU PIGS.. I mean look outside your door walk around at night, it's totally going to crap at least that caretaker could wash clean and kick out bums too.It's to bad most of u were so ignorant at least he made the effort . Right now what are you left with oh i know a rotting pig pen with crack heads and bums huffing in the stairwells and cleaners who just wash the dirt around. THANK GOD I"M MOVING IF U HAD A BRAIN U WOULD TOO it only going to get worse no hot water no heat and now no-one to clean HMMMM.. The housing building across from the park seems safer and has better UPKEEP so enjoy having to pay more rent for your filth. Your right this is about bedbugs and thats why NOTHING BUT PIGS HAVE THE RUN OF 360 and now what a slum lord from out west to run it to ground oh well enjoy and good luck to that caretaker hopefulyl his new BOSS's might CARE about their TENANTS

I live at 360 Cumberland Ave, in the past 4 years I have only found 1 bedbug (dead)

Sadly yesterday I found two live ones!

B M Land never bothered to fumigate the building properly. They chose to do the 3 apartments above and below the infected suite and the apartments on each side of the infection.

For the Person posting about how bad the people at Cumberland are remember its the leasing company allowing these people to live here. This forum is about bedbugs, not for you to complain a

bout the block. If you don't like it please move. Any caretaker that posts signs through out the building saying that a bunch of pigs live here can figure out why the new company has fired him. (well hopefully he would everntually figure it out)

Back to bedbugs:
Hopefully the new owners will take on a better plan of action for bedbugs in the future and do the whole building this time!

Sorry to say the new owners let the night time cleaner go and the whole building in a matter of 3 or 4 days has gone to absolute crap a pig farm is more sanitary there's feces and urine in stairs bums in the entrance ways and dirty i mean dirty floors,
the cleaner they had did wonders in 7 months with the BS B&M land put there employees thru...HATS off to that CLEANER !!! SOME of us in the building really enjoyed the clean safe building that he tried to make here for a home but now totally runn

ing down hill. WOW it's amazing before last week u could eat off the floors or walk safely to laundry, now i'd worried if there are mice, rats bugs and everything i mean for 2 days there has been food rotting on the floors of the main floor !!! SICK if anything IT's gotten worse and thats only in days i mean b&m were cheap but wow u figure owners from alberta would at least have some standards but they just wallow in the filth.......MAYBE they should deem it unsanitary and close the place not just repairs this building is rotten to the core, and should be REBUILTfrom ground UP!! HOW SAD !!!!!

I have lived in this building since 2004 and have not seen a singal bug in my suit except for a fyl or two, but was treated for cockroaches with glue gun type bug killer twice, they did the entire building. And the new people we have here cleaning day and night are awsum this place has never been better.
But as of today it's no longer owned by B&M was just sold and new owners take over today back with the same knowledgable manager janice back in the leasing office who dosent put up with pigs an

d idiots shell kik em out on there butts. It's every tenants responcibility to keep the entire building clean you do not just live in your appartment sweat you live in am appartment 360 Cumberland HOUSE , the buildind is your home not just yout appt suit.If I see something on the floor in on my floor or anywhere elce I pick it up and put it in the guarbage, it's just common sence, I think half of this building should be evictied been here over 7 years and have seen allot . But to date it's the best it's ever been due to the new cleaning staff and now a real building manager!!!There are however other hasords that could cause bodilly harm or death such as, electrical wires hanging out of gang boxes, lights in hallways with no covers and wires hanging out all over especially the exit points and starwells the parkade is the worst for most electrical hazards, theres smoke detectors dangiling from the celing on the main floor (the detectors that activate the buildings evacuation fire alarm and speakers) Thi is a majour violation of the fire code and one day some kid is going to touch a wire and get electracuted!!!!As well as the absence of a ventalation system to bring in fresh outside air no wonder the place stinks its called presurised hallways where the big vent blows air into the hall preshurising it and not allowing the smell out of peoples suit's as well the vents in the bathrooms don't suck at all there part of the whole air exchange system which used to function great now its not even on and or working!

Well I can honestly say if there are bedbugs in the building it's not the lack of management responsiblities as it is as much as all the tenants faults some of the people are disgusting , they throw their trash on the floors "lazy and ignorant"
plus if the doors to garbage chute is locked they throw the garbage in laundry rooms,Where its stinks up the joint. The building has bugs because some of the people here are sick disgusting and stupid i live in the building and i see the pigs everyday w

ith smiles on their faces when they say hello or angry and yelling the management this the cleaners that!! Well if i can teach a dog to sit or fetch why can't these pigs live like human beings and not lice infested farm animals. They cry about the bedbugs Well maybe if THOSE IGNORANT TENANT's learned to cleanup and dispose of the waste it might be alot cleaner i think HONESTLY IT was like a third world country HERE @ 360 till they hired that new night time cleaner He seems to not take any crap i've seen and heard him with my own EYE's KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK JEFF KICK OUT THOSE DIRTY BUMS !!!!!!!

Bed bug found @ 5 am early Monday Morning. I phoned B&M land and have yet to receive any follow up phone calls or treatment to my suite. I was doing laundry sunday evening therefore, I am convinced it hitchhiked into my suite.

Prior to waiting for a suite to become empty I had heard from a friend that there was an infestation of bed bugs in this building. So, before I moved in I asked our suite be treated prior to me moving my furniture in. They called me paranoid but stated they did it a

nyway. After living in the unit for few weeks I noticed a lot of 'furniture' being thrown out and into the garbage dumpster beside the building. Now I am freaking out here and scared that it might get worse.

Another bug found two weeks ago on my bed, but most appear to be gone. Bedding checked regularly, zero sightings since my last report until just this one. Apartment has asked me if I am still infested with bedbugs, because one of my neighbours (and they will not say which) is heavily infested and has been sprayed multiple times.

Did crack and crevice treatment myself with diatomaecous earth and has cut down on the carpet beetle infestation dramatically, not to mention probably the bedbugs!

I was informed by the PCO that there are more infestations in other suites; specifically the one across from mine and others on other floors. Suspects people doing laundry on other floors is spreading the infestation. Apartment has not made any other tenants aware of the problem, nor have they followed up with myself on my infestation.


Ongoing infestation, moderate. First sighting May 21st. Approximately 10 sighted and killed, most found crawling up walls and inside a clock. PCO hired; suite treated with Tempo SC. Nearby suites left untreated, other tenants not aware of the infestation.
