I've been living here as a resident for the past 8 years. It is now November 2019. About 4-5 years ago a major bed bug infestation was in the building. It was in the residents rooms and in common areas. They provide a laundry service for men who desire such service and the man doing the laundry had a severe bed bug infestation and they dragged their feet to resolve this issue. People were seeing them outside his room on the walls and they didnt take the complaints seriously due to there being an

abundance of mental issues amongst residents here. Their hesitation caused a severe outbreak throughout multiple rooms. Those rooms were treated. Some with success others without. They only treated the rooms in question and did not do another inspection on neighboring units to prevent the bugs fleeing to neighbors while they heat treat infested units. As of about a week ago (Early Nov. 2019), I've found them in my unit and have found out the rooms above and next to me have both been recently treated causing a full on assault on me. They are gonna treat my room, but only after I reported noticing them (beginning of Nov. 2019) myself which was only 2-3 weeks after their K9 inspection. And LOTS of them. I only looked because that inspection was the only one I was present for and was concerned because the exterminators dog did in fact hit in my room. The exterminator started a physical inspection, but was stopped shortly after. The building employee was letting him in rooms and was the one who rushed him. He was telling him that they had to do the entire floor and cant spend all day on 1 room. The exterminator seemed hesitant, which alarmed me, but they are pros and the building employee has done many of these and always appeared to be pretty thorough in his responsibities. Very regrettable that I let them leave. I've already lost many belongings. Many of them irreplaceable. It's caused my depression to reach dangerous levels and severe insomnia and paranoia. They do not reimburse you for any belongings that are damaged throughout this nightmare. I've lost my job due to accusations of spreading them to my customers and fear getting a new one until this nightmare is over due to the fact that I will spread them to others. Bed bugs truly are a living hell. I will always check this sight before moving into a new residence. Amazingly, I am appearantly the 1st to report them on here though and I know for a fact this has been an issue for years. So, I suggest having the place inspected by exterminators prior to signing a lease and ask if any problems in the past. By law they have to tell you. I hope this helps and better yet that this address isnt your only option. Put it this way. Bed bugs will make you seek any form of resolution no matter how drastic.
