I lived in apartment 256 in Paradise Falls apartments. Moved in on 3/21/2020 and saw my fist full grown bed bug in my bathroom sink the morning on 3/22/2020. I thought it was a tick, not knowing what bed bugs looked like. The rest of the day and next day everything seemed fine and by Tuesday 3/24/2020, I had a few bed bugs on me in my bed when I woke up, blood underneath me on the sheets, one or two crawling on the walls early in the morning too. I was able to kill what I could see and started t

rash-bagging everything that had bugs on it that I could see (blankets, bags, clothes in baskets/boxes.

I was able to sleep at my parents' after that night, having only spent three nights in my new apartment. I had a really bad reaction to the bites and dealt with the itching and burning on my arms, neck, and legs for weeks.

I fought with Paradise falls saying I knew I did not bring the bugs as I had moved out of my parents' house where there were no bed bugs and they said that they would not take responsibility for renting me an apartment with bed bugs because there was a possibility that I brought them to the apartment.

As I continued to pack (and throw away) my things from my 3-day stay at Paradise Falls, I noticed bugs in various life stages from full grown to the tiny white-ish babies so it was clear that these bugs had infested this apartment for some time.

The complex sprayed the apartment 3 times (as agreed upon in the lease) which did not kill all of the bugs. I sent pictures and videos to the office every time I went back to check. I made them spray two additional times.

In total, I paid rent for March 21-31, all April, to break my lease which was equal to one-month's rent and additional move in costs which was approximately $3,000.00 for a 3 night stay, losing furniture, clothing, food items and one hell of a horrible experience.
