204, 1945 104 Street,Edmonton, AB was infested of bed bugs because of suite 104. The suite 104, 1945 104 Street had brought home a free (bed bug infested mattress) from Kijijii that was causing suite 104 tenant bites for 6 months since Sept 2013 until she reported Feb 2014 that indeed there was a problem in her suite. Suite 204 reported a bed bug infestation 2 months after suite 104 was sprayed only (not heat treated as well). This careless negligence caused suite 204 to loose everything all bec

ause Esquire Management would not invest in heat treatments for all suites adjacent to the bed bug suit 104? This was VERY DISTURBING THAT the owner of Esquire management refused to do the heat treatment on suite 104 (and do heat treatments/spray to the adjacent suites so the bedbugs will not infest suite 204. Suite 204 was quite upset and concerned because the spray DOES NOT WORK, DEMANDING THAT HEAT TREATMENT IS TO BE DONE AS WELL.*The owner of Esquire MANOR DID NOT CARE BECAUSE HE IS IN THE PROCESS OF TRYING TO SELL THE APPT BLDG. The management insured suite 204 in Feb 2014 that they contained all the bed bugs withing the mattress of suite 104?? Suite 204 said this is going to spread because bed bugs can literally go anywhere no just stay contained in a mattress in suite 104. Unfortunately the landlord/owner owner of Esquire Management NEGLECTED to listen to the demands to have the heat treatment done so it did not spread to suite 204 from suite 104. THIS SHOULD BE MANDATORY BY LAW TO HAVE OWNERS HELD RESPONSIBLE TO DO HEAT TREATMENTS AND NOT TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT! THIS IS AN EPIDEMIC AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE. This was a very helpless situation for suite 204. This was absolutely devastating to Suite 204. LANDLORDS LIKE THE ONE OF ESQUIRE MANAGEMENT SHOULD HAVE TO STAND TRIAL FOR DESTROYING AN INOCENT TENANT'S LIFE BY NEGLECTED TO LISTEN OR CARE TO RESEARCH WHAT TO DO WHEN ONE SUITE BRINGS BED BUGS IN A BUILDING.
