September 2, 2011. Checked in to Room 102 La Quinta, Lovers Lane, Milwaukee WI. In the middle of the night felt an itchy sensation. This continued. At 11:30 pm I gave up sleeping and turned on the light and bed bugs were on the pillows scurrying around. We immediately left the hotel. I ended up with major bumps and an enlarged lymph node. Bites on face, arms, legs. I have seen bed bugs as I work in public health so I knew immediately what they were.
