I stayed here for a month in November of 2010 while I was looking for a place to rent. I had just driven across the country and had stayed at two other hotels along the way, one in Utah (which did not have bugs) and another in Idaho which may have had bugs as I recall having several very itchy bites the next morning. At the time I had no idea bedbugs were such a problem so I didn't think anything of the bites, I saw several spiders in the Idaho Falls place and assumed the bites I had must have b

een spider bites.

Everything was fine at the Cheiftain for the first 10 days or so but then I began having the most horrible, itchy bites on me every single morning. After doing some research online I came to the conclusion that it must be bedbugs. I never actually saw a bug until just a couple of days before I moved into the house I found.

When I nottified hotel management they were very sympathetic but told me that the owner of the hotel had authorized them to do nothing more than launder my clothing in their on site laundry facility which was nothing more than ordinary washers and dryers and to have the maid thoroughly clean my room. Of course this did nothing.

Despite going to a laundromat and washing everything I had with me in hot water and sealing everything that couldn't be washed into plasic bags for a couple of weeks the bedbugs followed me to my new home and I have been doing battle with them ever since. These things are HORRIBLE and seem impossible to get rid of. I haven't had a decent night's sleep in months and am at my wits end.
