Stayed there two nights on November 8th and 9th, 2011.
Was not really aware of 'beg bugs" but woke up the first night...and saw a black bug on the comforter. Quickly took the comforter off the bed and thought problem solved.
Next evening began itching around my neck, back and arms.
Started to inspect the walls and bedding closer and discovered bed bugs clustered in bed corner.
Notified expedia and they notified hotel management.
Next morning...so called maintenance came in and
inspected(he later stated he lived in one of the hotel rooms and did handyman work)said he saw nothing. I directed him to a bed bug on the wall, he took a quick look and declared it to be a baby roach and get this...flushed it down the toilet and said an expert was on the way to check the room.
The expert never came and after calling back expedia, the so called 19 year old supervisor stated there was no problem.
As I would not leave until they got a so called expert in the room...both declared I had seen a baby roach...at that point I showed several captured 'baby roaches' and he immediately declared them bed bugs.
As I travel often...this had to be the worst hotel experience I've had...literally!
