March 25, 2015 arrival March 26, 2015 departure. We stayed in room 1064. We Inspected the room upon arrival. Although dated the property appeared to be in transition as some updating had been done. The bathroom and sink areas all appeared clean.
I awoke due to a sensation on my upper arm which I grabbed. Upon inspection it looked suspiciously like a bed bug. I then found another live bug in the tub which I placed in a hotel cup.
I went to the front office to inform then of the issue. The

woman at the desk said she could give me a 10% discount. If I wanted to speak to the manager I had to wait two hours for jim to come in.
My wife and I bagged our luggage in trash bags I purchased at the local store. We then went to the laundromat where we placed our clothing in the dryer at high heat per instruction found on the internet.
I contacted Super 8 corporate office to report the incident. After listening to me they inquired as to what the hotel had done. I informed them that the desk clerk offered a 10% discount on the room rate. The corporate office said that was not acceptable and asked for the name of the desk clerk
After meeting with the owner, he requested that I show him the bugs. Upon inspection of the bugs, he confirmed they were bed bugs. He also stated that they had recently treated for bed bugs and thought they were gone
The owner agreed to refund our money for the room, but did not offer to reimburse our out of pocket expenses for bagging and laundry services to ensure that we did not transport these bugs to another place. I ended with two bed bug bites, but my wife up with about twenty bed bug bites.
Although Super8 corporate office gave me a claim number, took my email and phone number, I have yet to get any follow up on this problem.

ME AND MY MOTHER STAY AT SUPER 8 MOTEL IN ASHLAND 1/28/2013 FIRST NIGHT FEEL SOMETHING WAS BITTEN WHEN I WAKE UP SEE FEW BITTEN ON MY ARM. SO I TOLD THE OWNER ABOUT IT HE SAY HE DONT HAVE BED BUG AND SHOW HIM MY BITTENS HE TOLD TO PUT SOME HAND CLEANING STUFF ON IT. BY END OF THE WEEK I HAVE BITTEN ALL OVER BOTH MY ARMS AND LEGS AND FEET. WILL NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL NEVER AGAIN.

We stayed at this motel on 7/26/10 and stayed in room 1061. We slept and the next morning my daughter woke up with approximately 20-30 bites on her arm and some on her leg. We assumed they were mosquito bites and left it alone. I also got bites but not as much as she did. We stayed a second night and she woke up with double the bites. We went to a pharmacy looking for something to stop the itching and the pharmacist stated we should go to a doctor because what she saw looked like bedbug bites

not mosquito bites and she would need something stronger. We have finally arrived at home and we are all getting the same red itchy bumps. I looked up information on bedbugs and realized that the pattern of the bites are those of bedbugs. They have obviously come home with us through our luggage.
