This occurred on Wed., 10-3-13. Upon evening check in, I first asked to see the room. During my room inspection, I the searched the bedding seams and lifted up the mattress and found one, on top of the box springs. It was a tiny, dark beetle looking bug which was dead ,fortunately. I couldn't find any others. I took the bug up and showed the clerk and told him I couldn't stay there and he needed to have either maintence or pest control come in and spray. he said ok and we left.
