My wife stayed at this hotel on business for a week in mid February and to our horror, found them in our home! Yep, they came home in her luggage and now our nice clean home feels like it should be quarantined by the CDC! While she was there one of the maids told my wife that the woman managing this hotel has her brother working as a maid at there and he doesn't even change the sheets after someone slept in the bed; he just makes it back up. Just spend the money to stay in a nice hotel in San
Antonio, anything less than $100 a night there is going to be a bed bug or prostitute ridden cesspool.

SAN ANTONIO -- A woman in town to be the maid of honor at her sister's wedding says she cut her trip short after being attacked by bed bugs at a local hotel.
The woman's brother-in-law, U.S. Marine Sgt. Simeon Rodriguez, said Howard Johnson hotel management has refused to issue a refund, despite the family presenting photos of the bed bugs and capturing one of the bugs in a water bottle.
The hotel is located off I-10 West near DeZavala Roa
d.
Rodriguez and his wife Geneva got married last weekend. They were happy to have all their wedding guests in town.
"Told them all these great things about San Antonio," Rodriguez said. "Kind of puts it on the back burner."
Geneva's sister Jestena noticed the bites on several parts of her body a few days into her trip. She said she even found the actual bugs after pulling off the bed sheets.
"We got that room inspected and there wasn't anything in there," said Howard Johnson receptionist Whitney Miller, who offered to move Jestena to another room.
Instead, Jestena cut her trip short and drove 23 hours back to Michigan earlier this week.
KENS 5 asked the receptionist for a copy of the receipt, but she told us her manager had taken it home for the day.
Simeon said hotel management has given him conflicting stories on when or even if a pest control company has inspected the room.
Whitney said the hotel has no plans to offer Jestena a refund.

We were so tired from traveling we didnt check the room too well. The morning we had several bites all over us, I had to shower with my flip flops because the floor was grimy, and the room was just a total disaster. We checked out right away and switched hotels. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I never leave reviews but I made an exception for this place. Spend the extra money for peace of mind, trust me.

stayed June 2010 actually caught a full grown bed bug and took it to the front desk. They did not seem concerned I then contacted the owner and was told I would get a response no later than June 29th and of course I was never contacted. These people obviously don't care so don't assume they have taken care of this problem.

March 24th-26th. Stayed in room 209. The 1st night my wife and I slept in separate beds and I woke up with bites on my arms and back, wife had nothing. Second night my son slept in the bed I was in and he woke with bites. We contacted hotel management and they moved us to room 215. We did not search for infestation at the time because we weren't sure what was happening until someone mentioned it the day we got home.
