Went on family vacation with my 3 kids 7/26/21-7/29/21. Myself and my one year old seem to be the only ones effected. After day 2 at the hotel I noticed red bites all over my sons leg and 2 on his face. We left day three and that’s when I began to itch. I had bites all down my left arm, shoulder and back and a few on my right arm and hand. 3 days later I’m still itching like crazy and my son began running fever and vomiting. I never saw any bugs anywhere. But my mom questioned bed bugs becau

se the bites definitely do not look like mosquito bites or act like them. After comparing my bites to other photos online, it’s definitely bed bugs. Now I’m scared I have taken the bed bugs not only to my house but to my mothers where we stayed a few nights after great wolf. I wish I had seen this page before making my reservations. I saw a few posts on Yelp but like these reports they were from years ago. Obviously its an ongoing problem. I wasn’t very impressed with the resort anyway but this really takes the cake. Will never be going there again. Next time we will try Kalahari.

We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX on December 15th for one night. When we got home the next day, we had realized our daughter was covered in bed bug bites. Upon research, I’m finding this seems to be a common theme. I wish I had know. Now my worry is that we brought them home even after washing and fumigating everything. Just stay clear of this place at all cost.

I usually stay with my family at Great Wolf Lodge the weekend of December 6-8. Our flight got cancelled so we stayed another night in the hotel, but it different rooms. I wake up to itching all over my arms. I go the the doctor when I got back home and they told me it was bed bug bites. I am so disgusted as I’ve never experienced this before. We have called Great Wolf Lodge to tell them our experiences.

Daughter is at a High School cheer camp Jul 27-30, 2019. Two girls in separate rooms were bitten by bed bugs. Full extent of the infestation is unknown, but based on the hotels's response of only changing out the mattresses, I will assume they do not have a clue how to properly get what I would characterize as an infestation, under control.

Unfortunately, I would have to recommend avoiding this hotel.

Checked into room 6045 on October 2, 2015. We were out on the property all evening and returned to the room about 11:30 pm. I had 6 little girls with me, because we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. The girls started to get ready for bed, and before anyone actually got into the bed, I noticed a bug on the bed. I took a picture of it. Then, I googled pictures of bedbugs to help identify it. I called the front desk. A couple of employees were sent to my room. By the time the 2nd empl

oyee arrived, we found more bed bugs on the pillows. I was offered another room (7050) and some vouchers. However, when we arrived in room 7050, I noticed a bug (don't know what it was) crawling across the wall in the restroom. By the time I got my camera and back, the bug was gone. I made the call not to stay for the night. I had to drive myself and 6 little girls back home at 12:30 am, because I couldn't contact their parents. My daughter was crying, because her birthday party was ruined. The next day I spoke with a manager who informed me that they would call in professionals to confirm bed bugs were in room 6045, and then, they might talk to me about giving me a refund. That was five days ago. I plan to keep calling until I receive an answer.

3/2/15 Room 2055

Woke up at 4:30am to find a small bug crawling on my pillow. Put it in a ziplock bag and photographed it at high magnification. It was definitely, without a doubt a bedbug.

Brought it to the front desk. They said they would send somebody to check out the room and call me back. I was trying to be discreet but since they have not called me, it is now time to warn others.

We were part of a large group and many people were complaining of bites.

May 2014:We checked in on Sunday afternoon. Check in was easy and pleasant. Did the waterpark, etc. kids loved it. Then we got into bed early (8:30pm) so we could get some rest before having to wake up at 3:45am for our flight to boston in the morning. We wake up at 3:45am, turn the lights on and see little bugs on the bed my wife and 2 year old were in. We do a double check and find a bed infested with BED BUGS! We freaked out call the front desk and they send two guys to our room (they arrived

very quickly). The guys are hesitant to believe us until they start turning the sheets and low and behold the two guys freaked out and literally RAN OUT OF THE ROOM. They left us a bottle of "bug killer" and told us to spray our stuff but were actually more freaked out than us!
