Regarding the La Quinta Inn on I-35 in Georgetown, TX, north of Williams Dr.
I checked in to the hotel on 9-10-11 and was placed in room #232, room with twin double beds. I used a flashlight to check around both beds, as I always do when traveling. I had never experienced a bed bug in person but immediately found two small flat, round instects near the matress seam, along with a large collection of human body hair. I immediately snuffed out one of the insects in a sealed styrofoam cup and Googl

ed images of bed bugs to confirm. The images confirmed my fears without any doubt. Even without the shocking discovery of live bed bugs, both beds were in terrible shape. Thank God I didn't place any belongings, or myself, on either bed. I photographed the bed bug and the bed. I showed the deceased bug to the front desk clerk. The clerk was helpful and apologetic and provided an immediate refund which I requested. She said she would notify management and would not rent the room. Obviously I did not stay there.
