We checked in this hotel on July 4, 2021. The room # was 216. My friend was bitten by bedbugs 6 times before we found out the room was infested.
We called the front. The person in charge at night seemed to be in the twenties and possibly was a part-timer. He claimed the hotel had just been sold to another owner, and refused to provide management's number for us to reach. We requested the hotel provide us another non-infested room. It was refused, due to rooms being sold out.
We ended up m
oving to another hotel at 3am on July 5. Howard Johnson hasn't given us a refund yet.

I was booked to saty at this hotel when i showed up the place looked nothing like the pictures on line when i went into our room and flipped up the mattress bed bugs were every where i ran out of the room and lost 146 bucks for booking with this low class hotel

This motel has at least 15 rooms closed off due to bedbug infestation! The manager, a woman from Taiwan, is too cheap to treat the infestation. She has, in the past, told the desk clerks to rent those rooms if they need to, without telling the guests that bedbugs are present.
