The Super 8 Motel in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, no longer exists. The entire building and all adjacent buildings were torn down completely to build a large and very nice Kroger Marketplace shopping center in 2013-2014. You might say that the natural environment of these bedbugs was totally nuked!!!

We checked in to the Super 8 on 1/14/2011. As usual, I checked the room/bathroom/bed and everything looked ok. That evening, as we settled into bed, a small bug was seen on top of the sheet. As the evening progressed, several more bugs were spotted throughout the bed and we were unable to sleep, a few of the bugs seemed engorged with blood.
In the morning, we went to the office and told them we either needed a refund or another room because we found several bugs in the bed/pillows, etc. We w
ere given another room on the other side of the hotel, which was MUCH cleaner overall, but we will NEVER again return to the super 8. A google search on my phone showed that the bugs we found WERE bed bugs. I wish I would have taken pictures.
The office attendant/manager didn't even seemed phased when we told her there were bugs... so it must be a common complaint. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!
