July 25-26, 2014.
Checked the room, no sign of bugs. Woke up and gradually found a ton of bites the next day. Came back to the room and saw them crawling all over the pillows. Manager insisted "pest control specialists" found nothing in the room, despite the fact that we had photos and video.

I stayed there in September 2011 six days in room 226 and was severly bitten on both of my legs from the knees down. other bites appeared before I was offered change of rooms. Dana the manager never talked to me about bed bug policy and the hotel even slipped a note under my door stating that I was bringing fleas into the hotel to make sure I changed clothes before entering the hotel. Management never offered rememdy for situationa and even thou the staff was sympathic. I was ignored by manager
and left to my own to resolve the problem. That first week there I was in terrible pain, burning red and swollen, and itching, hard to walk by end of day. They continue to rent the room even when the health department checked on them. Dana should be ashamed of how she handled the situation and dealt with customers. I only wish she would sleep in that room. Don't ever stay at this Howard Johnson.
