We selected this hotel for my wedding party and the place was out of a haunted movie set from the start. When we woke up, my bridal dress had black specs on it and when we looked closer, my husband said they were bugs. He squeezed one with a tissue and it was full of blood. Not only was this hotel freezing with little hot water but it was dirty with bed bugs. I would stay clear of this place

Stayed the first week of July 2013. I didn't see them in the room....but unfortunately they travelled home with me. I also learned that not everyone gets the bites and rash. A fortune to exterminate and lots of stress! Stay away from this hotel!

We were there for a wedding over Memorial Day weekend....the wedding was perfect the bedbugs were a disaster!!!!
Vidoes were taken with cell phones to prove there were bedbugs (and loads of sinkbugs) because the management did not believe us!.Then the housekeeping lady said "well, there's only a few". Are you kidding me??????????? They also said the manager would speak to us....lie...lie...lie...there is NO manager on site.

My entry is the one from 5/28/10 where i found the bed bug crawling quickly around near my face. Just wanted to add that the front desk person did confirm it WAS bed bugs. When the hotel cleaning crew came up later they tried to downplay it and said it was probably a local bug. They had another woman with them who was apparently an expert in bed bugs. Why would this woman work in this hotel if there wasnt a problem? They said she was from another hotel. Lie after lie!!!! Then we asked why the be

d had a zip locked sheet on the mattress and box spring when none of the other 7 rooms our friends from the wedding party had it on theirs. She said "we r trying something new and redoing the covers of the mattress. We want to see if people say they like the bed more." how f-ing stupid do you think i am? So you randomly chose room 308 to put this on? Yea ok...this is exactly y i took pix and a video!!!!!!! I am beyond disgusted and skeeved out. We were also told "u should keep it really cold in ur room bc thats how u keep bugs out." um no how about there shouldnt be any!? If its not the bed bugs its the mosquitos and stink bugs. If u do not believe me and would like to see the video of the bug trapped under the glass i am happy to email it to u.

On 5/28/11 my mother and I shared a room. It was room 308. I dont know what made me wake up but when I did there was a bug crawling right in front of my face near my pillow. I trapped it under a glass and took pictures of it and then googled images to confirm it was one. It WAS. The hotel refunded us the money for the room and was very understanding. Needless to say I did not go back to sleep that night and was exhausted for the wedding I was in.

I stayed at this hotel from Dec 6-8, 2010. I got bit in 5 different locations (wrist, forearm, middle of my back, hip and legs). It was multiple bites at each site. I went to the doctor and he confirmed it was bed bugs. I spoke with the manager and he told me that he would check into it with an exterminator. He called me the next day and told me that the room was fine (they didn't find any evidence). I'm not convinced. If you look at my body, it would tell you otherwise. I will never sta

y at this hotel again.

Stayed the weekend of 11/13. Read previous reports and took precautions. Upon check in, I took a flashlight to the entire room, and found nothing. I still put all my clothing in a xl zip lock bag and left it in the shower, (until I showered of course). The hotel, without a doubt, needs a total upgrade, I found no bugs what so ever. I most likely will not stay here again, but not because of bugs, but because for the money, it was not a deal. The hotel needs to be in better condition to pay th

e price we paid.

We stayed here the weekend of Nov 6, 2010. We made a thorough inspection of the bed, headboard, wall (behind bed) and the curtains. Although this took us about 45 min, we did not find any evidence of bed bugs. We had no bites in the days that followed. However, we took precautions by keeping our clothes sealed in plastic bags and hanging our clothes in the bathroom.

killed 2 rather large bedbugs upon my return after a work meeting. left the carcass of one for proof and a reminder to the others.

sleeping lightly and getting the eff out of this dump early in the AM.

Checked in on Friday, October 8, 2010. That very night, as I took the bedcover off to go to sleep, I found several ROACHES walking all over the mattress. I packed and went to the front desk to check out as soon as this happened. The front desk employee refused to give us a credit, instead, he went ahead and charged my credit card and did not apologize for having pests.

My fiance and I stayed at the Somerset Hills Hotel in room 421 after a wedding in June 2009. After our stay, we noticed small, itchy bites around our elbows, on our arms, and on my fiance's legs and feet. They usually were in groups of 3 or more. Since we both had them, I was suspicious so I saw 2 different doctors (as I was not pleased with the first diagnosis). They both told me it was bedbug bites. The hotel was the only place we had stayed away from home in several months so we know it

had to have originated from the hotel. I spoke with the manager to report the incident. He reportedly had his exterminator check the room and only found mosquitos. I can assure you these were not mosquito bites. We had to vigilantly clean our bedroom and change our sheets every couple nights. After a couple weeks, we were confident that we didn't bring any of the little bugs home with us but we were pretty well bit up from our stay. I still have bumps from where I was bitten. The manager offered to pay for half of our hotel stay. Thanks a lot. I'll be sure to spread the word.
