This place still has bedbugs. I found one in bed with me this morning and brought him down to the front desk. My reward was a voucher for a free desert [sic] or appetizer ($15 value).

I found 2 bedbugs in my room at the Fort Lee Doubletree - one alive, one dead - during my stay October 14 - 18, 2009. Sorry, I don't recall the room number.

I had stayed there several times before, and this was the first time I'd encountered the bugs. Being lazy, I didn't report it.

The rooms at this hotel are looking very old and tired; the carpets and bedclothes look like they're from the 1970s. The whole place could use a refresher.

This hotel is now under ownership of the Double Tree at 2117 Route 4 Eastbound, Fort Lee, New Jersey, United States 07024.

My husband and I stayed here on August 10th,2009 to escape the bedbugs in our apartment. After having laundered all our clothing and travel bag to be sure not to spread the infestation--we checked the mattress for signs of bedbugs. We found larvae, shed skin (dark), and blood spots.

We reported the matter to the front desk, were switched to a different room and were gi

ven a breakfast voucher.

Given are current trauma, we were actually really pleased with their attention and service and were just happy to be listened to.

I am sure that this hotel will take care of this immediately-however, we did feel as though we had an obligation to forewarn others.
