Today is Thursday, Oct 4th. I stayed in room 332 over the weekend and came back with bites that didn't start to make themselves fully known as "not mosquito bites" until Tuesday. Today there are incredibly painful welts all over my body and there is evidence that some came back with me and started to infest my home. Dealing with that is going to be a huge undertaking both physically and financially. DO NOT STAY at this hotel!

We were in room 225 (king Suite building) and our friends were in the ocean front building. Both rooms had bed bugs. I had bites on my side and shoulder, and our friend in the other room had them on her leg. We also saw matresses by the dumpster wrapped in heavy plastic with industrial taping. my daughter had bites earlier in the week on her legs also. We left all our suitcases and bags in the garage when we got home. Disgusting end to an otherwise pleasant vacation.

This happened in room 326 on Friday 9/26/2008. I woke up with several smeared marks on my pillow and red stains on the sheets. I pulled the mattrsess cover back and observed several live bugs. I immediately called housekeeping to report the infestation. Norma Foxwell, housekeeping manager observed the bugs and suggested we change rooms. I

spoke with Michael Dean, Hotel General Manager who agrees to reimburse for the nights stay however refused to allow me to change hotels without a full nights charge. Bites started appearing on Saturday and continued for 5 days. It was noted by my Doctor I suffered over 300 hundred bites from my forehead to my feet. I also developed an allergic reaction to the bites which resulted in large welts all over my body. The hotel has been unresponsive and a law suit has been initiated.
