1 week stay in room 114 and had 3 visual instances of bed bug bites on arms and legs. Had sheets changed twice during stay. On last day, discovered classic blood smear on bed. Believe to have possibly discovered squashed bed bug, but unfortunately husband dropped it after removing from bed. I had a red smear of blood on my left arm, which leads us to believe that I may have squashed it when attack attempt was being made by bug. Bites still itching that occurred on second and third incident. Spok

e to General Manager and showed him bites and blood on sheet. He offered us less than 45.00 (1/2 of one night stay of our last night there) stating that was the best he could offer without examining room. Very unfortunate as we enjoyed our stay using the pool, hot tub, and sauna with our son. Paid 783.93 for our week stay and attempted to leave as cautiously as possible by laundering all clothes, laundering travel bags, spraying toiletries, phones, shoes, etc... with sanitizer and bagging in gallon size zip bags. Will be encountering dry cleaning bills and also had to discard personal items that could not be laundered. Will be costing us more than 45.00 out of pocket expense and the precautions necessary prior to departure severely delayed our business responsibilities that Monday. Would not stay again due to risk factor. We discovered another guest's recent bed bug report filing just 4 months prior.

I stayed at the Sleep Inn Elkhart on 5/16-5/17 in Room 309 and woke up with bed bug bites from head to toe. I have many photos to substantiate this.

I stayed at this Sleep Inn on 9/8/14. I was in room 112. I woke up this morning with at least 15 little red spots on my legs and by noon they had swollen to look like pimples. I have never had this happen before but this had to be bed bugs.
