STAYED IN ROOM 403 ON 5/1/2015 TILL 5/5/2014. ON THE LAST DAY THE FOURTH OF MAY MY GIRLFRIEND STARTED GETTING BITES OF SOMESORT THEY ITCHED REALLY BAD. WHEN WE RETURNED HOME SHE WENT TO THE DR AND HE CONFIRMED THEY WERE INDEED BEDBUG BITES. WILL BE CONTACTING THE CORPORATE OFFICE.

I arrived at the Howard Johnson on April 15th 2011, I booked for one night. At 7am the next morning of April 16th, I awoke to find what appeared to be bedbugs in the bed I was sleeping in. I also contained several to show to hotel staff. I reported the incident. Staff looked at the bugs and called an exterminator. An incident report was filled out. Two days later, the hotel confirmed with me that what I found was indeed bedbugs. No adjustment was made on my room rate. I was charged full

price. My room rate was charged to my credit card. I attempted to refuse payment through my credit card but was unable to do so. It is their policy that since I did stay the night in the room, they can not refuse payment. I am currently still trying to get my money back from the hotel itself. Although, I did stay the night, it was because I did not find the bedbugs till morning. I feel the hotel should have waived or at least discounted the room rate for the conditions I encountered.
