I booked 2 rooms for business at this hotel for 2 nights. The first night, one employee was awakened by bed bugs. His entire upper body and hands were covered in bites. When I asked to cancel our rooms for the second night, the clerk at the front desk Paula responded with "It's a little too late for that sweetie!" There was no denial of the bugs... just informed me I would not get a refund. So on top of the horrible experience our employee had to endure, the hotel staff was as nast
y as the bugs.

I had reserved a room for 8 days, and the first night I woke up just after midnight itching and covered in bites. I was offered a can of bug spray by hotel staff, which I promptly refused and demanded a refund. I received 7 days worth of a refund, but staff refused to refund the first night even though I didn't stay the full night. I ended up sleeping in my car that night so as not to risk spreading any bugs to another hotel. The next day I had the pleasure of laundering all cl
othing I brought with me.
The FL Dept of Business and Regulation has recent inspection reports that list the presence of live and dead bed bugs in the rooms. I wish I had seen this before reserving the room.

Checked in and out on 8/14/14. The hotel was filthy in all senses of the word, but I had checked it against here and it didn't show up. I looked for signs of bugs as soon as I got in the room but it wasn't until I was putting my baby to bed that I found a large bug on the box spring. I took it (smashed) to the front desk and was fortunately refunded my full reservation. Stay away!!!
