I stayed the night of May 16-17th, 2015, like the last poster. No incidents in the hotel, but as of yesterday, 5/20, at home, I have bites that are extremely itchy and look exactly like the photos of confirmed bed bug bites. Nothing was biting me before the weekend.

My 18 year old son and I checked in on Friday, May 15. While I was out helping my daughter, (who was graduating the next morning), my son texted me that he found a bedbug crawling on his shirt. He had been sitting on an upholstered love seat near the bed. I have checked this registry before and have looked at online images of bedbugs. My son trapped it under a glass, so I am quite sure that it was, indeed, a bedbug.

I went to the front desk to report the problem and the man at the reception

desk didn't seem overly concerned. He offered to change us to another room, but sleeping in a hotel with bed bugs would have been impossible. We all know that there is no such thing as one random bed bug in a hotel room.

Of course, the man refused to issue me a refund and as it was 12:30 am it was not possible to speak to a manager. The receptionist did call and find me a room at another hotel which was approximately $100 more per night and we planned to stay three nights.
