This hotel is HORRIBLE. Do not stay here. The place is dirty/disguting and the food made me sick. I also think there were bed bugs in my room as I woke up with itchy red marks all over. I complained to front desk but they did nothing.

In september we had a girls trip to little rock and stayed one night at the crowne plaza. When we got there everything seemed nice such as lobby, room, etc. We go to our event that night and once we got back to the room we stay up a while before going to bed. We turn off all the lights and tried to go to sleep. Then one of the girls started coughing so she got up to turn the light on to get water. Once she turned the light on she saw a bug crawling on their bed, she started freaking out then we

all starting freaking out. One of the girls said it looked like a tick and then another girl said that it was a bed bug. (We had never seen one before so we had to google it.) she was able to catch the bug in a glass jar and we called downstairs and were freaking out! He wasn't helpful at all we were on the third floor and told us he could maybe move us TWO doors down. Umm no thanks they're probably in there too! So she brings the bug downstairs to the desk while we take all of our belongings out of our room. He switched us to the 5th floor but by this time it was 1 am and there was no way we could sleep after a nightmare like this! They comped our room, but were not at all worried about the bug! They said they would "look into it" after researching the Internet we saw a post from a few years ago at the same hotel that reported having bed bugs in their room on the third floor also. Basically I'm posting this to warn everyone. I had never been through something like that & now everytime I go to a hotel I research if they have had a bed bug report before! Please educate yourself!

Once the light went out began to cough, turned on lights to get some water and there was a bed bug. Captured it brought it downstairs, they acted like this was a common bug no big deal we will swap you to another room. I contacted two other hotels whom did not have availability so stuck accepting another room due to church seminar.

Not happy now I have to take precautions when I go home to NOT contaminate my home.

On 9/14/09, I checked into the Crowne Plaza hotel @ 201 S. Shackleford Road, in Little Rock, AR. I was there for the purpose of attending a business conference. I initially was assigned room 311. My 1st contact with this room was around 5:30 p.m. on the evening of 9/14/09 to be exact with a time. The very next day I discovered I was very itchy on the top of my feet and the soles of my feet. Upon looking down, I was covered in red bites. They itched uncontrollably. I brought the bites and

my discomfort to the attention of the hotel manager (Paul). He indicated he would switch my room in which he did. By that time, it was too late. I was miserable the rest of the time I was there which was in total 4 days (3 nights). The bites became itchier and by time I returned to my home 3 hours away I had to go to the doctor. My doctor diagnosed me with bed bug bites and prescribed me a cream to rub on my body from head to toe and she administered a steroid shot. It wasn't until about 3 days later the itch subsided, but I now have scarring. I also wrote a letter to Crowne Plaza after my departure and basically, I was told they didn't have "bugs" and they hoped I would come back and stay again. Yeah! Right!
