My husband and I stayed at the Knights Inn in Opelika, Alabama, on September 25, 2010. It was a dump, but it was late. So we checked as best as we could for any pests. We found one bug, but was not aware that it was a bedbug. The next day we left by 6 a.m. By 3 p.m. I began to itch. Bites started erupting and by evening we counted 38 bites. We used the internet to look up bedbugs and their bites and sure enough the patterns of bites and photos matched my bites. It has been 3 weeks and mo

st of the bites have disappeared, but I do have scarring from the worst ones on my face and arms. The doctor told me to take Benedryl and use topical itch reliever. This has been an awful experience. I contacted Wyndham Hotels and the Alabama Department of Health. Wyndham Hotels told me there was nothing they could do but report the incident to the Knights Inn. I could persue it if I wanted to do so.
