Bed bug found in our apartment in August of 2012. After repeated, let's say heated but professional conversions, with the apartment's leasing office they finally agreed to cover the cost of treatment.

It's now November, and after many chemical treatments and a lot of laundry/cleaning and steaming on our part, I can say we have not seen or been bitten in well over a month.

It was a not so pleasant ordeal, but something that one must take in stride living in an urban area.
