I have lived in this building for 6 years. I had a problem with bed bugs for 2 of those years. I dealt with it myself through measures such as bowls of oil under bed legs, furniture away from walls, sheets covered in plastic, etc. A few of my neighbors mentioned that they had problems as well. Last year, the problem was finally resolved in my apartment, but I spotted a bed bug on the sofa in the building's lobby. The superintendents disposed of the sofa.
