The previous report is totally bogus. I know this house (I live in the same neighbourhood), and they do not rent the top floor of their house, and haven't in the 13 years I've known them.
Also, a "big bug" on a wall is NOT a bed bug. Bed bugs hide in cracks in the wall, in headboards, in floorboards, in mattresses, certainly not in the open. And they are not bigger than ants. Do some research.

Why do you claim "Posts are solely the responsibility of their respective authors."

and then allow anonymous authors. Is that being responsible? What of reports that have nothing to do with bed bugs, why are they part of YOUR SITE?

I'm sorry I didn't put this on the site sooner. I had rented the very top floor of this house in January 2009. Very nice family owned it. But as I was waiting for my stuff to arrive out of province I went in to clean etc at night. Noticed a bug on the wall in the bathroom. I knew the guy before me was a gross tenant as was obvious from the dirt and I was aware of bedbugs because my sister is terrified of getting them. I told her about it that night.
