A friend informed me in regards to the below posting and I think the previous tenant was irresponsible when stating, 621 Clemmer is overrun with bedbugs and is uninhabitable.

I live right next door to the apartment the previous tenant who posted below lived in and the bedbugs from their apartment did not migrate into my apartment. Although the tenant below the previous tenant did have a few bedbugs migrate to their apartment, the landlord invested the money necessary to quickly contain the p

roblem and the bedbugs were completely eradicated.

It would appear that the previous tenant does not want to take responsibility for the fact that they brought the bedbugs with them when they moved into the apartment. I have lived at 621 Clemmer Ave. for 13 years and know of no tenants who have had a problem with any type of bug infestation aside from the previous tenant that posted below.

We just found out that a ex tenant reported bedbugs in her prior apartment and we feel we should have the right to dispute her accusations. These tenants did have bedbugs, but they moved into their apartment in September and their problem was not reported to us for many months after they took occupancy.

Furthermore, we sent a licensed exterminator to their unit on multiple occasions, but what was not mentioned in her report was they failed to follow the instructions from our exterminator; bag

and heat your cloths and bed covers. If they do not assist us with correcting the problem it does not go away.

Also, the accusation was made that the building is infested with bedbugs. Well that is a blatant lie. The only other apartment that had a problem was the unit below them and their problem was remedied because they followed instructions. No other apartment has any issues with bedbugs.

This building is absolutely infested with bedbugs. We've had them for almost a whole year, with multiple "treatments" from a shady exterminator that the landlord is apparently friends with and has blatantly told us he uses pesticides that aren't even supposed to be used for bedbugs at all. The landlord refuses to properly treat the whole building. In a few more months I'm sure the place will be overrun with bugs. Our lease ends soon and I have already moved back to my parents' house because fran

kly the place is uninhabitable. I have to literally throw away all of my belongings because I don't have enough money to treat a moving truck with my possessions in it. The bugs scale the walls. They're in all of my books, papers, DVD cases, everywhere. I suspect they're in the building itself. Stay away.
