In April 2012, I had a bad infestation of bedbugs and the landlord put up a fight to pay for an exterminator. Three other apartments in the building - at least - had bedbugs and I heard from the other tenants that he just offered to send in his own guy. I have no reason to believe that this guy did a good job and he certainly didn't clean the stairwell and shared spaces. Bedbugs spread within buildings, between the walls, and also when people move their infested clothes, mattress and furniture o

ut, bedbugs and bedbug eggs drop into the shared space and someone else picks them up. I am sure that's how we got them. I heard that the tenant who took our place after we left got bedbugs shortly after. In my opinion, don't move in unless you have some assurance that a high quality exterminator that uses both insecticide and cryogenic methods has gone through the ENTIRE building.

I was the guy who inspect the building and there is no bedbugs any more in this building

A bi

Multiple units reported bed bugs, land lord called exterminator right away but was adamant we should not communicate infestation to other tenants.

Landlord was argumentative about and not receptive to reimbursing full cost of extermination.

A unit in this apartment building has bed bugs. The landlord called an exterminator for that unit, but other units might have them too. And there could still be bedbugs after the first spray. The landlord is not receptive to having the entire building inspected by an exterminator. So they may reoccur if eggs are left alive.

its taking care no more bedbugs in this building

July & August 2009 - bed bugs found in two apartments at 235 Seaman Avenue, Manhattan.

Have found several adult and larvae bed bugs in July 2009.
The landlord called the exterminator right away but I found more bed bugs a week later. The building seems to have a recurring bed bug problem.
