As recent as within the last year, all three floor and every apartment in the building had reported an infestation. We almost rented an apartment in this building. When signing the lease, we asked the Landlord to sign a certification that, "To his knowledge, the bed bug issue had been taken care of and at the moment, the infestation was no longer an issue." He refused to sign it, so we negged on the lease. Probably a solid move.

There have been bedbugs in all 6 apartments here over the last 4 years. Landlords have hired the cheapest and least knowledgable exterminators, who have told tenants on the downlow that they "don't really expect to get the bugs out of the building, they are just trying to keep them at a manageable level." By spraying apartments separately and not approaching the problem in all apartments at once, the chemical treatments simply send the bugs back and forth into the other apartments. Avoid this
building at all costs, the landlords have deceived tenants with boldfaced lies about the ongoing infestation.
