Maybe so. Also, could've been from the moving van if you used movers. Could've been from the furniture company that you bought furniture from...their delivery trucks or maybe the furniture was already infested from the warehouse. Other places should not be ruled out.

I just moved into my apt and got bed bugs. All new furniture so the bed bugs came from the building.
