164 russell st has been infested with bedbugs since at least 01.

the land lords are liars and crooks. No one was told of this problem and it IS chronic ! the entire building is infested and has been for at least 9 years ( my experience)

Bozena and Zigmunt Szumowski of Hicksville new york are irresponsible and absentee slum lords. That building is falling apart and has mice roaches AND of course bed bugs.

Be warned! do not move into this building. I was eaten up for years. Sometimes waking up in the middle of the night with 3-4 of them on my arms and legs biting me . Each bug will bite 3 times in a row.

BOZENA AND ZIGMUNT SZUMOWSKI ARE LOW LIFE SLUM LORDS AND SHOULD BE PROSECUTED!

This building has been infested with bed bugs for over 3-4 years. It has been exterminated and nothing has completely worked. The exterminators have reported that the buildings next door are also infested. They have an exterminator come once a month, but they DON'T SPRAY FOR BED BUGS and we don't have any other bugs, so it's pointless. The landlord lies and tells each tenant a new story when they see their first bug. He tries to blame them and their pets if they have any, but to my best knowledge this is impossible. Animals can't carry bed bugs like fleas. He looks for the cheapest way out. For the first time everyone in the building wants to do something, so he had an exterminator do the whole building (we think). But this will probably always be a problem as long as the other buildings have issues because the whole block is connected row houses. It is miserable to live with this problem, but the chemicals (which can only be supplied by a trained professional, BUG BOMBS DON"T WORK) can be harmful after time. Don't trust the landlord and buy a steamer, vacuum consistently and buy fabric mattress covers. This will help until the tenants either force a change or your lease is up. There usually is no happy ending to bed bug stories.

Apt 3L , Although entire building seems to be having a problem. We moved in 4 Months ago, Our neighbors said this problem has been here for at least 3 years.
landlord or previous tenants said nothing to us about this when we were moving in.. now we are not able to get control of this problem.
