I realized my mattress was mildly infested with bedbugs after I was bitten during the night. I was bitten on my neck and arms. I was extremely upset because I am a very clean person, and I maintain a spotless apartment. After futher investigation, I realized that my neighbors had bedbugs, and they must have crawled into my apartment. I went to a pest control center called "Bug Off", located on St. Nicholas Ave bet 164th & 165th Sts. I brought several pesticide items. I also brought a steam iron from Kmart, and vinyl mattress cases. I fumigated, and I'm happy to say that my problem has basically disappeared. However, I constantly spray the floorboards, and adjoining walls. I blame my ghetto nasty neighbors for this problem.
