I had bed bugs at this location too. The landlord refused to exterminate them.
I did all the work.
I believe they are truly gone from my apartment.
I know their were two other apartments effected by bed bugs. The tenants were freaked out and left and didn't fight the problem.

I have been living in this building for many years, in the recent years alot of new tenants have moved in and out(alot of them not originally from NY. Now after all of these years I have bed bugs, I noticed that the landlord is aware because this year my lease said that it was not responsible for bed bug infestations. I\\\\\\\'m going to look into this and contact the NYS Heath Dept. The landlord here is very stingy on doin necessary repairs but is very quick to pester the rent controlled tenants. New tenants here are paying about $1,500 monthly. Just to make some people aware there are alot of mattresses and furniture being tossed out to the curb lately.
