This building has been zoned for residential use on the fourth floor only, which has never been inflicted with bedbugs. The entire building has been bedbug free since prior to the eviction of the third floor tenants in June 2014, after which the floor was gutted and renovated to artist studios.

The bedbugs had returned in 2014. This building is badly managed, filthy and dangerous. problems range from crack whores living and working in stairwells to people that leave trash in common areas. Renter and visitors BEWARE

bedbugs are no longer a problem at this location

The third floor bedbugs have reached the fourth floor.
I had bedbugs in my first Brooklyn apartment 6 years ago, and worked hard to get rid of them (throwing out furniture, moving twice, dusting and spraying LOTS). I've enjoyed many bedbug free years, but now it looks like I've got to deal with this shit again.
Will update about the landlord's response.

Whole 3rd floor has been infested for about 1 year (as of Dec 2006). Apt 301 is not as infested as the loft apt on the other half of the floor, but we have bitings regularly. They may be traveling underneath the floorboards. We poison regularly and they do not, so the bugs just keep returning. Landlord does almost nothing.
