In early September, 2007, my wife & I moved into this apartment. We'd never heard of bedbugs (we moved from CA), but had bites within the first week. Like so many folks, we thought the bites were from mosquitos or spiders. Only after a week did we begin to further research the issue. It turns out that the previous four tenants of our specific apartment all left because of Bedbugs, and half of the other tenants in the building continue to have bedbugs. The Landlord makes feeble attempts to "Fumigate," bringing in some local pest control agency to spray occasionally. Half of our belongings are still in boxes (boxes which we can't be sure to be free of bedbugs). This week, there will be another attempt at fumigation. If it fails, we plan to insist on having the owner pay for an agency of our choosing, or we will begin to pursue legal action.

Found them in December and have fought ever since. Landlord not quick to help out, have to harrass him. And he didn't believe us. I can understand, because it royally sucks. We had the exterminator in and he found 2. We though we had em beat and then 3 weeks after the 2nd treatment they bit my boyfriend again (I have not been bit). We believe they are in the floors. We also saw a lot of beautiful furniture outside of the next door building, and believe they have them too!
