We definitely have them. After months of mysterious bites and itching we finally actually saw them. We have tried hunting them individually, bug sprays, washing everything. We're going to try DE and see what happens. I've heard it's pretty effective. Then we're throwing everything out anyway, just to be safe: mattresses, bed frame, headboard, nightables, sheets, all of it. No one in the apt has traveled abroad or stayed in a hotel for a few years and we've never picked up second-hand furniture. We can only conclude that the bedbugs traveled between apts (plenty of travelers in the building). It's pretty annoying and uncomfortable, not to mention expensive.
