Bugs were first found in mid-June 2008 by myself in apt. 3C in the smallest bed room. I had never heard of real bed bugs before moving to New York. The renters blamed me for the situation and refused to tell the landlord about the bed bugs. Needless to say I ended up having to fork over money for the extermination even though NYC law says landlords are to pay for them. We have had two treatments and I am unsure if there are bed bugs left. I don't see any but mind you I didn't see any until there was a small infestation. The exterminator said we had to of had them for at least a few months for that many adults to have grown. I don't react to bites so that was why it got so bad. Luckily I am moving out but hope that I don't take any of these pests with me.
