I just found out about this site - but 3 years ago i had to move out b/c my apt & later the entire building became severly infested with bedbugs. the landlord did nothing to help (while i lived there) despite our numerous pleas for help. a few months after, i walked past the building and there was a sign saying the entire building had to be vacated for exterminating.
in the end, i lost hundreds of dollars in exterminating fees and hotel costs (it was that bad!!) i don't know what the building is like now, but i will never forget that summer - it was truly a living nightmare. me & my roommates has welts from head to toe. also, i had to throw out so much furniture and clothes as well...
