In January 2010, after receiving a few strange bites, I had my management company send a exterminator, who along with a bed bug dog found evidence of bed bugs in my apartment, 3B. The management company paid to have the problem exterminated. I also called a VERY helpful company, Bed Bug Busters, who specializes in prepping apartments for extermination (packing up and cleaning all clothing, and furniture before the exterminator comes).
