5th floor apartment my have bedbugs.

Marriott New York East Side, 525 Lexington Ave, New York, NY Checked in on Thursday, Nov 15 in the evening; stayed in room 2511; checked out the next morning. My right upper arm was itching like crazy at lunch. Kept itching. When I got home around 9:30 pm and was able to look at my arm, there were 2 sets of welts in clusters of 3. They were colorless but raised. By next morning, they became red. And by this morning--3 mornings later--they are larger and much more red. I never saw any bugs, and didn't even think about what this could be until I came home and my wife helped me research. I called Marriott Rewards yesterday (Saturday) and they reported it to the hotel management. I haven't heard back from anyone yet. I've also reported my encounter on Trip Advisor. I'm petrified if I brought any bugs home with me.

Courtyard By Marriott Midtown East, 866 3rd Ave, New York, NY 11232 Stayed in mid November in one of the disabled rooms on the 18th floor and slept on the pull out couch. Brought back Bedbugs to Toronto. A nightmare.

I stayed at the Hilton, 1335 Avenue of the Americas in July 2007 and came home with bites in a linear pattern on my side. The Doctor informed me that I had been bitten by bed bugs. Long story short they infested my house and it has been two months. I have paid the exterminator, have had to wrap all my bedding in plastic for weeks before having it dry cleaned, slept with double sided tape around my bed so they get stuck in it, thrown out a chair in my bedroom that became infested and lived a nightmare. I finally think that they are all killed. They traveled in my suitcase home from the Hilton. The Hilton claims that they have dogs that can sniff them and still have not settled my claim. I am absolutely traumatized by the experience.

The hotel is the Marriott in Chelsea, located at 160 West 24th Street, New York, NY My friend & I stayed there with our girlfriends on the weekend following Valentines Day. We all had bites all over us by the time we checked out.

09/29/2007 Severe infestation has to date resulted in the entire M line of apartments in building to be affected.
