the bedbugs came because a tenant on the 5th floor went camping, brought them home with her and decided not to mention anything to her roommates or the super for 3 weeks, even after having noticed them. bedbugs are an unfortunate reality here in the city, it helps when people are proactive about taking care about them. people who refuse entry to an exterminator because they are too busy sleeping only exacerbate the problem for others. i am a tenant here, and thankfully the building is clean and free of bed bugs, but i do remember hearing about these people on the 5th floor. They should consider cleaning up once in a while.

I am the second person to get bed bugs at this location on the 5th floor. It started around August 2007.
