Our new roommate has begbugs in his room. The other roommates haven\'t had any problems yet, but we are afraid. We don\'t know where they came from. The could be all over the apartment brought in by any of us, or by a previous roommate, but our new roommate is the only one that is allergic - or maybe they\'re just in his room.
We contacted the management right away, and they have already sprayed twice in the past week, and have scheduled for a third time. We washed all the linens and clothes and had stuff dry-cleaned. We threw away his mattress and rugs and other stuff to reduce clutter. Everything that has been laundered we are keeping in giant zip-lock bags. The living-room furniture is leather and we cleaned it thoroughly.
Our poor roommate is still getting bit, even after the second extermination. It seems to be getting worse and he was bit on his face last night! We are all really stressed out and I feel like this is taking over my life and making me crazy. It is hard to get three people on the same page to have a concerted effort against this thing. My roommates have both been staying at friends and boyfriends, probably spreading them everywhere. I\'m staying here holding down the fort and dealing with the landlord, super, cleaning, research, coordination, etc. and am losing my mind.
