I reported bed bugs after staying several days at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd South. Never having had bed bugs, I asked that ALL my linens and pillows be changed. To my dismay housekeeping only changed the sheets. Thank goodness I was there, because I saw them return the same comforter pillows, and pillow shams to the bed. Since the room was paid in full prior to my 2 weeks stay, I could not afford to change hotels.

I have never and will never stay at that hotel again,

as the maid and her Supervisor didn't take the appropriate measures to take care of extermination, comp me, nor change my room. I had many bites.

I was disgusted with the Hotel Management as well, for not making other arrangements or reimbursing me for the trouble of being treated and remaining in the room to make sure the linens were ALL changed.

I've stayed manytimes in the Las Vegas hotels
since 10/11. I always ask for all my linens and pillows to be new, and have not encountered any varmints in my rooms since Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

I just stayed in room 28-107, and first morning I woke up with 11 bites on my right leg and abdomen. My husband had 3 bites on his left leg. I called to report it, and the manager did move us right away to another room. She took my number and told me they would call an outside company to check the room. She called me back a few hours later to tell me there was no evidence of bed bugs in the room, but I really felt that was a standard response. I have been a nurse for 23 years and do know the

pattern of bed bug bites, and what they look like. I tore the new room up looking for bed bugs, and didnt find any, and no further bites.

A friend & I were staying in THEhotel this past April. She found a bedbug the morning we were checking out. Hotel management called us after they investigated the room & found evidence of bedbugs. So did I the next day when I had multiple welts on one of my arms. The hotel compensated us for everything we had to throw away & cleaned all of our clothing but I'm forever going to be wary of hotels from now on!


i work at mandalay bay resort and casino and can verify a bed bug infestation 5 to 10 rooms a week are taken off the market because of these infestations we have a company that used to come out to take care of this common problem but as of late within the last 2 months we discontinued use of this company because the vice president of property operations (engineering) didnt want to pay the charge they were charging so he can get his bonus my problem is any price for a billion dollar corporation i

snt to big for such a disgusting problem so now we deal with the problem with cheap chemicals that mask the problem 3 days and the room is back on the market. disgruntled guests who are attacked buy these nasty creatures are pandered too by giving comp rooms and free food telling them it was a freak accident so nothing gets reported these bugs have infested both towers mandalay and THE HOTEL so BEWARE i have come foreword because i am sick and tired of mgm resorts international corporate scum bag mentality and their treatment of employees and guests alike!!!!!!

June 30 My child and I woke up with numerous bites.Contacted fromt desk and a report was to be filled out and nothing was done.I called managment and left 2 messages with no return call.I have spent a fortune on RX & cleaning all our items.Air was broken for days and I am sure that helped multiply them.
