for several weeks, i had the suspicion that we had bedbugs. i found several bites on me, and saw something that i was pretty sure was a bedbug. so i checked our brand new bed, but couldn't find anything. since the apartment had many other bug problems, we were moving out after living there for only 4 months.

the night before our movers were coming (august 24, 2007), i pulled the bed away from the wall and was amazed. we had the beginnings of an infestation. i saw fecal matter, about 20 bugs, and many more little nymphs that had just hatched.

we ended up throwing away ALL of our furniture, unpacking ALL of our clothes and anything cloth and spent 8 hours in a laundromat washing and drying everything on high heat for 2 hours.

it was an absolute nightmare.
