When she began her first job in Boston on September 1, 2008, my daughter moved into apartment 6 at 1615 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, MA with only her clothing, a few books and CD's sleeping on an inflatable mattress on the floor, while awaiting a shipment of IKEA furniture. Within a few days she was covered with bites. A pharmacists identified the bites as bedbug bites. The mattress and her other items all came from our apartment in New York. We do not and have never had bedbugs. The landlord refuses to take responsibility, but has so far made one attempt at extermination - the bugs appear to be winning so far, however.
