The bed bugs here are absolutely horrible (Autumn Run Apartments). If you move here, prepare to be feasted on by bed bugs. Their exterminator is not effective. Our apartment was treated a total of 6 times over the course of six months, and the bed bugs came back a few hours after they sprayed! At the time, I didn't know that in order for most treatments to be effective, a exterminator has to come back to treat the apartment repeatedly. The exterminator never said anything about doing a followup treatment, he only came when we complained of bed bugs.
If you think that this is probable cause to break your lease, think again. Renters are hanged to dry in the state of Kentucky, the landlord wins. So beware if you come to this apartment complex. Don't waste your money on expensive furniture, because you will probably have to throw it out in a few weeks.
