I stayed at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa 1/21/11-1/23/11 and found the 2 bedroom suite to be extremely dusty, particularly the bed linens. We were scheduled to stay there again 2/11-2/13/11. Upon check-in on 2/11/11, on the 7th floor of building 5 (I believe the room was 7529 - it was a 3 BR suite), my daughter sat down on the bed in her room to watch TV and, after about 5 minutes, jumped up to tell me she was being bitten by something. The coverlet was dark colored and I brushed
some black buggy-looking scraps off of it. We immediately stripped the beds and found some more suspicous specks on the sheets. I then checked the bedding in the Master BR closet and found a bedbug on the pillow there. At that point we called the front desk, who said someone would be up shortly to check. After 15 minutes, the front desk called again to ask about the bug I had called about earlier. I told the front desk employee that I was leaving immediately and expected full credit for the stay. I snapped a picture of the bedbug and left the body for them in the kitchen on a paper towel, with a note. They did credit me in full. Had they reacted more quickly and moved us to a different room, we probably would have stayed. There lack of quick response left us feeling vulnerable, so we left.
