Started getting bites a few months back but hadn't seen any bed bugs till recently. Realizing that the property owner has no legal obligation to report bed bugs to tenants, considering this building is super old and all the walls are connected by the wood flooring that hasn't been maintained in years it would've been nice to have been able to take preventative measures during the first half of my lease.

Have seen bed bugs on several occasions, in different rooms of my apartment (even the bathroom). I have had several bites. This is an old building (built in the late 1800s) so I can only imagine truly how many bed bugs there are. Several other renters have mentioned that they have had bed bugs as well. The apartment building has their maintenance man had sprayed Suspend in my unit but, the bugs came back. I believe the entire building is infested and until the entire building is fumigated they w
ill keep coming back. There is no doubt that what I found are bed bugs. I actually gave one (dead) to my doctor so she could educate the staff regarding them.
